Adults refer to animals or humans who have completed their development. In the context of humans an adult's term has significance that is shaped by social and legal concepts. Legal adults are those who is at the point of adulthood and is defined as an independent, self-sufficient person and accountable. They are also known as "majors" and "majors", they may also be thought as having reached the age of majority.
