Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress. Anna Gunn is an American actress. She has also appeared as Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as a child as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio and she continued her love of performing on theatre. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre at Northwestern University. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for several years, before attempting TV and movie role. In 1992 Anna got her first major character in the role of Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. Anna continued appearing in films and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late 1990's. Anna was later selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. She was cast as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. Sully was another of her roles. Gunn was also on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn was a part of a four-part podcast of audio plays called Numbered Days. The relationship that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the plot of Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and the eventual end of their relationship similar to the arc that was Walter White's final days of life.
