Katy Perry's endorsement of her track Runaway via a blog post added to the musician's recognition. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering a piano in her attic and becoming enthralled by the music it could produce. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes advised her to make music as a means of development of her own, not as a way of earning money or to pursue an interest. In order to do so she started writing her own new compositions. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her favorite writers. Her mom encouraged her to play her songs in public, not to be famous, but to help others realize that they matter and what they can do for humanity. At age 6 She began playing the piano and at nine, started writing songs. She didn't tell her family about her music until she reached 14. Aurora isn't something she imagined as a child. Her sole passion is to write music. According to her, she believes that music can help anyone feel better.
